Soooo... what happened to the Masterball? Did Team Rocket get it? Did the company not actually have it completed before the attack (and elect to stop building it when Team Rocket's attack was the result)? Did the ball fall off the building and some random kid pick it up and keep it (thinking it just a cool pokeball)? Is the ball still being constructed and will be for sale in the future? Personally, I love the idea of it falling from the building and some little kid picking it up. Months or years down the line, they use the Masterball to catch their starter: a weedle 😊 The humor of the OP ball designed for Legendaries, having only one copy in existence, and it's used to catch an objectively weak baby pokemon that any pokeball could catch? Her final development from a stunted psychic child to a woman capable of forming bonds not just with Brock but with other people as well was nicely done. Kudos, author! Best chapter for me so far, with also a lot of plot points planted here and there.

2023-10-05 05:12:57 +0000 UTCOkay, on a second read here is my possible cold take 1) get dunked on will/ silph/ Steven. Reverse order is Steven not being the first mega and in INSANE fashion. He has been an ass in this story, I kind of want a member of his elite four/ Wallace calling him on it the first time he complains because everyone kinda knows in his league and have heard it all before. Maybe he okays an elite challenge with the use of mega before they say what it actually is? Maybe have him scour more for those stones out of spite? He does have a business thing with both Brock and Flint, why not have him be fully annoyed and call them with the price of a tyranitar mega stone before finding flint as an even bigger asset and gives him a job as over half of the mountain that isn’t a preserve belongs to the slate family (in Brock’s name) and have it be another stressor to the strained relationship. Having Flint go with Brock to survey they can find Dons stone or something. Basically Flint tells Steven about his finding Sabrina’s stone and Flint willingly trades a tyranitar stone for any stone flint finds. I think either motivation works Silph is basically Google in indigo, get dunked on An elite candidate making a mockery of competition and blatantly cheating to the point that pretty much the entire league knows it took a LEGENDARY to do anything against 2/5? I hope Brock Mega evolves in the rematch’s chapter. Just to rub salt in the wound. The other two things that happen is thanks to Heon having cannon mega Pokémon? It is seen as the “new” elite thing. Legitimately people will push to any mega wielding trainer being an elite. I loved everything here and my mind is swirling with love for all of this 2) mewtwo- is it wrong I see Sabrina treating mewtwo like a child? And Brock bumbling his way into being “dad mode”. Both Brock and Sabrina have amazing chemistry and I love their entire dynamic and can see them both mentoring mewtwo in what life is. And I’m also really looking forward to what Empress and Mewtwo will do, could be interesting 3) I think most people (myself included) put pele. Another idea is Gaia for Yolanda. Maybe “first dog” names for the other kids who want rock puppies as their first Pokémon in their journeys. I can see the girls wanting either that ponyta Brock bought or the rock puppies with fire stones probably coming from the volcano that Brock made 4) Sabrina being forced into the elite 4 A) she is too popular- beating will, mega evolution debuts, she has a school for psychic, Brock is way too popular and dating her with people way too into their “secret romance”. She is literally the most iconic candidate in Indigo with a father who is fully capable to take over for her with Sabrina being able to get him up to snuff. She is a powerful, beautiful, popular icon who every female trainer, hell every trainer now wants to be or beat. She might be more popular than LANCE right now and did mega before him B) no one would accept will after that display, they would constantly compare the two and not a single person in the story wouldn’t compare the two after the blowout. She has Pokémon never seen before. She has more power. Unless Will wins the second match? He has to fight her again or no one would actually take him seriously C) you can maybe find the Kitikane region as a part of an island chain off the coast of Johto and have a meeting with paldea. I want Agatha to point at Larry and say “do that!” To both Brock and Sabrina with Brock looking faint at adding that much responsibility (yes this is a meme idea) D) who the hell else could be in the league? There are two slots and they are trying to pull Karen in. Will is from Hoen but the other league members is kanto, maybe have lance try to find someone (not Claire) to fill it but I don’t think we know anyone else who CAN fill that slot out of our three

Incredibly exciting and i adored every bit of it; the split PoV was very well written and i am honestly impressed how well the chapter flowed. Really looking forward to the future of the story. Also all of Brocks pokémon are gonna go nuts with their training, they almost lost Brock, so i can't imagine how that'll turn out ^^

I was so worried that the Silph Co battle would take a chapter or two of its own, I was so stoked to see that this chapter covered all of Sabrina's battle too!! Man, getting her to make empaths out of all her audience, and then talking about the power of friendship; I feel like there might be a massive shift to the public perception of Gym Leader Sabrina. Like, the gym leader who emoted the least preaching the power of friendship right as she displays this "new" type of evolution. And then, getting through to Mewtwo with said empathy and friendship talk. Definitely feels anime. Man, this battle was so cool. I kinda want to see what a battle between HE!Sabrina and Spoons!Sharon would look like.

XD And if he might not go to her after blowing up Giovani's base instead of creating an island of clones. Also, I can't just SEE how the likes of Forest, Ash, and everyone else was affected by Sabrina and her words. Sabrina is going to genuinely be THE Idol of practically the entire fucking generation. And of course Brock can't help but praise/boast about his girlfriend even when hung over a huge drop by the neck. XD I also wonder if people won't figure that Sabrina is clearly the strongest if she thrashed Will, who drew with Brock, who beat Lance. They wouldn't even necessarily be wrong. XD

I loved the little foreshadowing of mewtwo grabbing Brock in cats vision. The mega evolution moment though? It delivered on everything the hype for it was and then some. Just perfect 👌. Also that one two combo from empress and titan to mewtwo also perfect. This chapter so far is the best yet and has me stoked for what else this story can bring.

I looked up on Datadex, a handy pokedex app that I recommend any pokemon fan get that hisuian Arcanine mostly uses physical attacks, two of those being tutor learnt moves outrage(dragon type) and play rough(fairy type). Within this story, Steven said so himself that he isn’t even personally attending to his elite team, so how did he have that much connection to his Metagross? Perhaps he was just bluffing at being capable of mega evolving his pokemon. And it seemed like Mega Evolved Elite Pokemons could rival legendaries just like in the anime.
