Wagakki means "traditional instruments" so the band is literally "traditional instrument band". 8 members, Yuko (leader and vocalist, also plays piano), Bene (shamisen), Machiya (guitar), Asa (bassist), Wasabi (regular drums), Daisuke (shakuhachi), Kiyoshi (Koto), Haruna (wadaiko drums). Yuko sings in a lot of styles but in this one she sings in the style of Shigin poetry. They are all over the map genre wise, from rock to jazz to kind of modern pop. No real metal though.

The mix of traditional elements and instruments with rock / metal is something catches me for sure.
