Another underrated song of BabyMetal. Probably because there are so so much outstanding songs in BabyMetals artwork. You say everything what to say about Su's voice and I also like Moa's parts a lot. Su-Metal is for sure one of the best vocalists worldwide and not without reason voted as the best female metal vocalist 2024. I am very happy that, with rising popularity of BabyMetal, more and more People can be wittness of that godgiven talent. Also the buildup at the beginning and the breaks are soooo absorbing. 2025-03-17 12:07:19 +0000 UTC'From Dusk Till Dawn' was on the international release of the second album Metal Resistance in 2016. The Japanese edition had 'Syncopation' instead. It was the first song they did entirely in English without a Japanese version. It was also the only song from the first two albums they didn't play live at the Tokyo Dome (they did play it over the loudspeakers when the crowd was on their way out I think). Although it is all in English the lyrics have never been published so any transcripts or subtitles on videos are a 'best guess' - some guesses are probably better than others. They had only ever played this live once. That was at the Hollywood Palladium in 2017 and there was no pro-shot video ever released from that, all we had were the fancam videos. A fan campaign to have it included on the 'Best Of' album for the 10th anniversary led to them playing it live at 2 of the 10 Budokan shows where this was filmed (it was not included on the album).
