"Guy: (pulling out the rope) Alright, explain this… everything else makes sense: towels, water, sunscreen… but a rope? Don’t tell me you expect me to play Boy Scout on the beach.
Girl: (smiling as she takes it from him) Nope, nope… What if the rope’s for… something way more fun? You know, a little bit of… hmm, control… a few tickles in the sand… and of course, someone who knows exactly how to keep me entertained.
Guy: (half-smiling, curious) Okay… that doesn’t sound so bad after all… What exactly did you have in mind?
Girl: (winks, putting the rope back in the bag and teasingly lifting her foot to show him her sole) Oh babe, if this turns you on… what I’ve got planned is going to blow your mind…"
I recently got this couple to use in G9, to expand the roster of cartoon-style characters I have. What do you think about them?
Just in case anyone has the slightest doubt: the characters, like all of my work, are adults—cartoonish, but adults.
