The collection of specimens of indigenous life forms had been a complete success, now the ship's holds were overflowing with specimens of the supposedly intelligent specie of this strange planet, and for its inhabitants the only thing that would have happened was that one of its aircraft had disappeared in an accident in the middle of the ocean.
Vakzids and Krokzoil were excited to be the first to directly study one of these specimens. Until now, there was abundant indirect information about the planet and its inhabitants, and this was thanks to their absurd habit of transmitting it by waves that spread from their system, also revealing their position, instead of using safer methods such as interlacing quantum. Unfortunately for both of them, they had been forbidden to use the usual direct and invasive methods intended for lower life forms, since these beings could be truly intelligent.
Krokzoil had gone into a rage. He and his partner had been in hurry to find out the coincidences between the nervous system of their species, and that of these beings, and now they were forced to use the slowest possible method: Use different sensory stimuli to analyze through scanners which areas of the nervous system are activated, a process that can take several days. Vakzids for his part turned to the ship's Information Analysis team. They had spent months studying all the information that the planet emitted, and it was possible that they knew something that could help them.
When Vakzids met with Krokzoil to prepare the experiment, he was able to give him good news, he believed that he had found a way to provoke a strong sensory response in these specimens, thus reducing the speriment time to a few hours. Without further delay, they prepared one of the specimens according to the specifications that Information Analysis had given Vakzids. It was time to check how well those tickles they had told him about worked. 🤔😈
I had already created a scene similar in concept to this, which I had published on Devianart, and I had been wanting to create more similar content, the problem is that said scene was very heavy to render, 22 hours, and for that reason I parked the idea.
This scenario, luckily, is much easier to render, at one hour per scene. I only have one pending thing that I would have liked to solve and I couldn't, the aliens. This model is the typical gray, tiny, big-headed ones, they look moderately cute... You can't imagine what I would have liked to do this same scenario, but being able to have exactly the same model of alien as the ones from Mars attack, I love that face that is both angry and smiling, and that aspect of a technologically superior invader... Which without weapons any human could defeat with a smack. 🤭
