Komadori Inn Update 0.4.5 is Live!

Hello everyone!

February is halfway done, and we've finally seen some snow! We hope this message finds you warm and cozy.

We're thrilled to announce that version 0.4.5 of Komadori Inn is now available to our Patrons! This update has been a monumental effort, taking a significant amount of time to complete. We've mentioned in previous posts what to expect in this version, and the final playtest of the new content took me nearly an hour. But that's not all—we conducted a full retest of the entire game, addressing not only the bugs reported by players but also identifying other areas that needed improvement.

With several changes and optimizations, the changelog is quite extensive. As requested by our Patrons, we're keeping it a bit mysterious to avoid spoilers. However, stay tuned for upcoming posts where we'll reveal more details and share a video of the second animated scene from this version.

Story/Gameplay

• "The Events"

  • When you complete both quests 007 and 009, the next morning, after the morning meeting, you should have a conversation with an NPC. This will initiate a sequence of events that will unfold over next three days.

• Almost 7000 of new words in dialogue lines.

• Two animated scenes

• Quest 010 + received quests 011, 012, 013, 014 (these four are unfinishable)

World

• Three new maps:

  • Hot springs' rest area

  • Hot spring's men's change room/bathe

  • Third floor (this one is seen only for a few seconds during one of the scenes)

Extras/Art

• Pixel Art of three new characters, dialogue portraits for two of them

• NPC's now enjoying drinks on the benches by the beach

Changed/Fixed

• Fixed crashes while going to the second floor

• Fixed crashes when choosing sex with a girl

• Fixed crashes when eating something from the kitchen pantry

• Fixed volume levels of Sex Sound FX and Shun's Sex VA, Sex BGM volume turned town a notch

• Fixed bugs with some characters switching clothes during Pixel Art scenes

• Fixed bug with girls' dialogue lines not showing after sex or having a talk

• Fixed display of some objects in the rooms switching layers when opening and closing menu

• Girls will have right clothes when choosing sex

• Text rework:

  • Typos fixed in English, Polish.

  • French and Spanish are now fully translated by awesome people (thank you Reddox, Josema <3)

• Changed the girl placement:

  • Fuyuko is now available in the lobby when she's free in the mornings ("Let's talk" available)

  • Girls working at the front desk will spend the noon in the office ("Talk" and "Sex" available)

  • Shun won't agree to sex at the beach (added other NPC's there)

• Added light to girls' rooms

• Timing of some animations during handjob and missionary positions improved

• Many, many other fixes

Of course, we might have overlooked something or simply haven't tested every possible scenario, so let us know when you come across any bugs or stuff that needs changing!

Please note that quests 011 to 014 are not completable but are received by the player. This approach will help us streamline our work on future versions.

Thank you all for your patience and support. We're continuing our work, and the next version should arrive sooner. However, we plan to participate in the Steam Next Fest as mentioned here and are eager to create a new trailer for the occasion. Let's see how it goes!
