2024-05-05 22:16:15 +0000 UTCI’ve just been watching NM media’s report on the protests in American universities and I was wondering what actually is out government’s policies when it comes to supporting and supplying a foreign country that is clearly committing war crimes. I also remember the heavy handed police tactics used here during COVID and wonder if our government would employ similar methods if our protests were to grow larger and maybe spread to universities. At the moment the protests are being held on weekends in Sydney at Hyde Park and apparently it’s costing the taxpayers $$$ every week for police services. This is getting no media attention and is clearly being suppressed in order to not create attention. One last thing, these protests at Hyde Park in Sydney have Australian, Israeli and Palestinian flags all representing as one.. there is no division or hatred towards anyone accept the oppressors..
