Stygian Maze
Added 2025-06-30 15:17:36 +0000 UTCUpdate 07.14.2025: Two new rotating scenes have been added to the set
I’ve created three new maps inspired by Chapter 8 (The Dragon Queen’s Pride ) of Vecna: Eve of Ruin. The scene is set in the Red Belvedere, the maze is one of the "casino rooms", where adventurers test their luck in the twisting, ever-shifting halls of the Stygian Maze.

This mysterious dungeon tests not just courage, but cunning. A chosen leader must guide the group, attempting to outwit the maze's disorienting pathways. Walls rotate and shift (but I included stationary versions too), and new passageways magically appear, challenging adventurers to adapt quickly or risk becoming lost in its depths. With each decision, the party is either led to hidden treasures or thrust into sudden danger. Create further variations by adjusting the DD Editor's hue parameter and adding some 3D-printed props.

In maze 1-3, only the lights and the fog move; the walls are stationary (for those who are annoyed by the rotating walls). Maze 3 is a water-filled chamber.
A map called "rotating" is actually maze 1 with rotating outer walls. The shifting walls version is different. At the 6th second of the video, the surrounding walls change, and then at the 17th second, they change back for the loop. An additional pack for CG patrons with two more locations is coming soon here.

Available in gridded, gridless, and static — all in 4K. Walls for Foundry VTT are included.

2025-09-28 02:52:35 +0000 UTCAt the 6th second of the video, the surrounding walls change, and then at the 17th second, they change back for the loop. I'm planning more variations, which will include more exciting movements, but the middle will remain fixed for playability. The entire movement is designed to convey the sense that it's an ever-changing, unmappable maze in motion.

2025-06-30 16:25:34 +0000 UTCWOW, so cool...love how you implemented this! These are generally useful for other scenarios too. I'd really love to see some other rotating and shifting variations if you feel up to it in the future (maybe as a future CG bonus or something). Having some other variations would make these even more versatile/useful for our own scenarios. Cheers! :)
