The homeless man looked at the clean, well-dressed man with concern. But he did as he was told. The man promised him strength and power like he wouldn't believe. He was a scientist after all, and rumors have it that his family dabbled in powers unexplained. Lukas rolled onto the table. He heaved a sigh as his surprisingly toned body shivered upon touching the cold wood.
The scientist walked around to his little podium filled with various colored lights. "Now, I can't promised there won't be some pain. But it will be bearable, and won't take long for it to be the least of your concern."
"B-but, what do you mean?"
"No questions. Hold still, be a good boy and accept my gift. Just imagine, being as big as the hulk. People will look at you in fear, or ecstasy. Muscles so large you can hardly walk. And money? You'll have people showering you with money just to see your naked body."
The man choked down a nervous gulp and closed his eyes. He did his best to picture what the handsome gentleman was promising. It was a little difficult once the machine turned on, and the air filled with hums and buzzes. He opened his eyes to look over to his controller for a second. The scientist had a wink and thumbs-up to offer, and somehow his ease soothed the homeless man's spirit.
