I woke up today and wanted to make something to thank everyone that I could remember having an impact in my growth as an artist. I'm absolutely sure I forgot at least half of the people I wanted to add here, but I was also taking way too long on this - it was supposed to be just black and white and much simpler, haha.
In any case, I don't want anyone to worry, I'm not sick or quitting or anything. I just felt really grateful for living in a time where I can watch, be influenced by and even interact with so many incredible people all across this vast world.
And I do think some people might consider NSFW art strange or even shameful, but I don't really care, to be honest. Art is art, and if you pick up a pencil, a brush, a chisel or a keyboard and mouse and work on something that you truly care and want to make, you're making art, doesn't matter the subject. If you want to write, if you want to draw or paint or interpret or whatever the hell, do it. People will judge you either way, so if it's from your heart and for your soul, do it. Create your art for it's own sake.
(Plus, I'm absolutely sure 99.9% of artists have drawn shmexy stuff at least once in their life, some just didn't want to share it.)
Heck, when I was young and found a picture of Tetsuko online, I was shocked and relieved because it proved one of two things: Either I wasn't crazy for liking big, strong women, or I wasn't alone! And I cannot begin to tell you how that was important for me. And once I started creating my own artworks and sharing and meeting people... Well.
This is just a thank you post in the end, and I hope my art can help other people try making their own, or find other people that like similar stuff, or even just make your day a bit better. That's the whole point.
Stay safe, stay strong. And love what you love, unconditionally and without shame. The world can never have too much love.
