Comms Open + Style Difference Ref (FUTA)
Added 2024-08-20 17:33:51 +0000 UTCSo, I finalized this little reference pic (it's a rework of a REALLY old drawing I made) in order to put this together: A reference pic of the two main styles I usually do. Sometimes I mix the two, but it takes a lot of work. Here you cuys can see how it works, basically - basic shading, the full thing and the colors on top.
I did this in around 6 hours (the shading itself) so it's not my best work, but should give you guys an idea of what the differences are and how they look after it's finished. I tend to prefer the soft shading, FWI, but either looks nice. Cell shading tends to work better on anime/cartoon style, and cell shading works better on OCs/kinda realistic characters.
