Quick Portrait and Thoughts on Life

Hey everyone. So, just a quick update, I'm working on finishing a commission later today and start work on other projects, but I want to be completely honest about one thing I noticed.

But first, here's a portrait of a model from Instagram that I really like, and I wanted to finish it so I spent around 2 hours doing some pretty basic coloring and shading work. It's not my best, but the main point was to do something different and see how fast I could do it.

Also, what I wanted to tell you all is that I have noticed that a bunch of my artist friends from the muscle girl loving community are getting very depressed lately. Mainly TMGF and RookErrant (I name them so if anyone wants to help lift theirs spirits, they can) are feeling depressed, and that made me realize I'm on my way there too.

I don't consider myself a very dedicated content creator, as I can't seem to get as much work done as I plan to... EVER. And that got me thinking I'm not getting myself right. I'm missing why I started patreon in the first place.

So I'm gonna change things up. This month, for the rest of the month, I'm gonna focus mainly on thing I want to draw just because. Things like this portrait, or remaking some pencil drawings I found, or just working on a comic that I want to work, or a story I want to develop. I feel like I can't really do that lately because I'm always behind on my own schedule, and I can't keep doing this to me.

It's bound to get me depressed to, which is the complete oposite of what drawing the ladies I love (and we all love hehe) is supposed to do for me.

I'm sorry that I'm not a person that can follow schedules and deliver consistently, and I totally get if people don't like that aspect of me. But I gotta conserve - and improve - my mental health. So, yeah. Expect posts weekly, but not regularly.

...That almost didn't make sense, but anyway.

Thank you all for your time if you stayed and read through all this. And please, if you can, retweet or interact with the artists in kind ways. It means the world, especially to artists, that we feel valued and supported.

P.S.: If you still have missing content like rewards or commissions, I'll be sure to finish them ASAP, but within this new parameter I have of my health first.
