The Dungeon Master Series "Oathhammer" Preview
Added 2025-03-14 13:00:14 +0000 UTCMany of you are asking, "What ever happened to the Dungeon Master Series?" And, "Does Justin even draw anymore?" and, "Are all of his castles built on a foundation of LIES?!?!" Well, today I finally have an update for those of you asking for more adventure!
Our classic crew has been languishing in an orc prison for the past month, ...still waiting to be broken out. While working out a plan for how to go about that, I started work on a pair of paintings that fits the Fantasy-Adventures-Gone-Terribly-Wrong theme of the Dungeon Master Series.
They are commissions for an upcoming fantasy RPG adventure called Oathhammer. The first one, (pictured above) features a cursed tree, and a party of travelers who took a shortcut through a forbidden forest.
The next one features orcs invading a dwarven stronghold, and making a real mess of the place:
I'm very excited about both of these and am really looking forward to diving in with paint! Will they be painted in oils?? Will they be live-streamed!?? Stay tuned...

Such beautiful pencil drawings and dynamic scenes. Would love to see one of the larger scenes executed in oil and how you tackle it (from an art process perspective).
