Halloween Drawings from the Dark Wizard's Market...

Today I have some early Halloween drawings for you from the Dark Wizards Market!

These are all exploratory work for the 2026 Dungeon Master Series. As with a lot of the others thus far, these focus a bit more on side quests, strange little shops and a giant market for dark wizards. I'm having a lot of fun with all merchants and potion-makers, as well as the strange, motley assortment of shoppers, like the half-ogres searching for a new helmet above.

We are all still pretty sick here, (the school sicknesses always seem to hit us this time of year), so it has been nice to take it easy for a bit and do some sketching for the series on the couch while the leaves are starting to fall outside. I love it!

The final image I have for you here is a sketch idea for the cover image. I still need to add the title, and might add another row of people in the far distance behind everyone so it fits in a square format. As you may be able to guess, it is very much inspired by running a booth at Dragoncon, where you occasionally have moments of absolute chaos like this!

Anyway, I just wanted to share some late-comers to the October Halloween drawings! I've still got one more horrible little alien monster on my desk at the moment, and I will be sharing that one here on the 31st!
