July Roadmap

Welcome to July! June was a crazy month filled with wild animals, kids out of school, danger on the high seas, road-tripping with giraffes, tornadoes, life drawing, a boatload of NDA work.

July is looking to be much the same. I accepted a very large NDA job (which has been awesome! Can't wait to share the work with you later this year when the NDA lifts!)

In the meantime though, I still have some big plans for the month, starting with a good old-old-fashoined POLL that will be going up later today for Classic Illustration Subs on what martian to do next. I did a ton of sketches from life of strange and wonderful real-world creatures last month (check out last month's Tutorial on "Drawing from Sea Life" for more of that) and this month I want to take the inspiration gleaned from that experience and create some crazy new imaginary ones!

There are 25 monsters to choose from and a hi-res download of all of them in the post. Choose your favorites and we will just start painting our way through your top picks throughout the month live on Twitch.

Livestreams will probably be at NIGHT this month as my kids are home on summer vacation (and during daylight hours, the studio is a perpetual whirlwind of legos, dinosaurs, dogs, colored pencils and juice boxes.)

Mentorships this month will be on a very odd schedule this month due to my kids being out of school and the 4th of July being a big holiday here in the states. Times will be as follows:

• Saturday July 8, 8PM EST- AVAILABLE
• Monday July 10th, 7PM EST- AVAILABLE

• Tuesday July 11th, 9PM EST- taken

Dates are first-come, first-served, so let me know ASAP if you need a particular spot. If no spots fit your schedule  message me on Discord and we will get it sorted out!
