Monsters and Martians of the Month
Added 2023-04-17 18:11:13 +0000 UTCThis month I have a new pair of creatures from the long-lost Martian of the Month series to share with you! Contrary to popular opinion, the project is in fact, NOT DEAD. I have just been tinkering, a lot. Most recently on the layout for the guide book, and today am pleased to be able to share a pair of monsters from a spread of the martian bestiary with you!
AN UPDATE FORM MARS: Most of the work these past few months has been on UI developments, inventory and weapon design, and have not been as exciting as far as the art and gameplay goes. But we are now back in a new character development cycle again so I expect to be able to share a lot more spreads like this one over the next few months. Let me know what you think of it!
Next, here is the hi-res drawing of the Monster of the Month, The Frogtopus Keymaker. I plan to livestream the colorization of this one in our next few Twitch streams starting this Wednesday:
WHERE'S THE REST OF IT GERARD?
Before you sharpen any pitchforks, yes, there is more coming! Later this month we will have more creatures from the martian bestiary, some battle scenes, a color version of the Frogtopus, and a new Photoshop Brush Set. I am also finishing a tutorial for those of you in that tier which should go up next week! Lots yet to come!
