Today I have several hi-res creature design pages to share with you! These are in watercolor and pencil and many of them were created while streaming live on twitch where the audience offered many constructive and helpful tips. "Stop stealing our ideas!", and, "Do your own work!" and, "This is classic Justin, first library books, then bank pens, and now martians. Is nothing sacred?" All posted at various points in the chat.
While the drawings here are all rough concept sketches, some are close enough to finished to act as placeholder art for some of the in-game elements. If you'd like to see how one of the in-game elements turned out, there is a behind-the-scenes post in the 10$ tier available today. It also shows the various factions in the game.
Ahhhh, I just love working in pencil again!
There will be a lot more of these rough sketch pages in the coming months as we fill out our roster of baddies that player will be forced to battle in the game. They will also eventually be part of a sketchbook for the series, (when we can finally find a new book printer.)
Next month, we will focus on more playable characters, weapons, and loot!
