Halloween Battle 2022: "The Gloomwald Swamp"

Today, I am happy to share the hi-res final for our 2022 Halloween Battle, "The Gloomwald Swamp."  I've been excited about this one for a long time, and working on all the zombie trees and medieval chaos turned out to be every bit as much fun as I had hoped it would all be!

Do the kids make it out of this one? I don't think sharp and pointy weapons are helping too much... Here's hoping there's something really useful in that wizard's chest!

This image will be the feature for this month's Step-by-Step Tutorial and Photoshop Brush set and both of which I hope to release later this week for those tiers. The development for this one is the first time I feel like I truly had a chance to put the new cycle method (Light, Color, Render!) to the test, and am very pleased with it. This was an absolutely pleasure to work on. 

So... What happened to all the streams Gerard? Absolutely nothing went according to plan this month. We all got sick here (again), I lost my voice, and I wasn't able to stream nearly as much as I had hoped. We also ended up missing illuxcon this month as well, which was a big dissappointment. Hopefully all of the school sicknesses are behind us now. (Right guys... right? It gets better right?!) I'm not sure wether we are streaming tomorrow or not. In the meantime, I am going to be busy on the guide and and brush set!
