Martian and Monster of the Month Double-Feature for May

This month I am sharing 2 new characters, one from space, one from the dungeons, both sinister!

"Crasgar" Captain of the Guard from the Monster of the Month series, is also the subject of this month's tutorial, where we go in depth into the 3 main stages I cycle through when rendering.

Next, we have Vorschagal, from the Martian of the Month series. I meant to try and get this character done in less than 5 hours, and I did! ...then I spent the next 12 painting each and every little barnacle on his armor....

All in all, I like how he turned out and I think he will be a fun baddie to face. I think I just need to reel it in when it comes to those tiny details.

Also a little different with this one is that I went back to my old traditional pencils for it. I have been trying to work only digital for the Martian series, but I just couldn't stay away.
