"The End of the Line" Hi-Res Color Final

We spent several weeks on this and streamed most of the process on Twitch. Thank you to everyone who came along to hang out with us on stream.
As usual we began with a detailed drawing of the image. I still consider this to be one of, if not the, most important elements in a successful image. If the drawing doesn't work, the painting probably won't either, so I tend to go a bit overboard making sure I understand everything at this stage.
For the colors, we painted the image in Photoshop, using transparent layers for the first half. (Multiply, Soft Light, Color, etc)
For the second half, we pummeled our way through layering as we went, using normal brushes and mixer brushes to slowly build up the image to a nice level of finish.
I loved making this one. I always really enjoy this series. Here's hoping we can make our way back again to these dungeons again soon...

Superb work Justin, I really enjoyed watching this one come together and it was extremely helpful from a learning perspective to see how someone goes through their own process. I definitely was able to swipe a trick or two from this one, thank you!
