This month's Monster is: The Terabit Byter

Our stream this month will be much more informal. My computer is down and out (eaten by this month's monster) and so we will be running the stream via a hamster-powered toaster oven. Expect chaos today. Next month we should be back to normal!

PROMPT:

This rarely-seen modern pest feeds almost exclusively on circuit boards and the exotic metals often found in computer components. This creature, dubiously classified as an arachnid, once lived exclusively in deep caves, far within the earth where the minerals they crave are found in greater abundance. In recent years, as the presence of landfills made of abandoned circuitry has risen, they have come to the surface, and begun to spread, causing untold damage to homes, businesses, Twitch streams, and the economy each year. They are small, with deft claws and diamond-hard mandibles, perfect for breaking down circuit boards and metals. A single one of these creatures can eat a motherboard in a single day. The terabit byter is not considered intelligent, but they do have iridescent carapaces that they can alter for camouflage, making them highly difficult to spot when inspecting a malfunctioning computer component. As they consume rare earth metals, their colors grow more and more vibrant and unstable and some have been reported to spontaneously combust.  

The goal of today's LETSDRAWMONSTERS is to capture an image of this creature, eating its favorite meal. *Don't feel like you have to use my reference for this month's monster! Feel free to use anything that feels like a primordial, pestilential arachnid bug that eats computer parts.
