December Roadmap

Welcome to December, Christmas madness, and the end of 2020! Here's what to expect! 

#LETSDRAWMONSTERS Christmas Edition is up tomorrow! Wednesday, 5PM EST on Twitch! Also, we are going to be (hopefully) reviewing last month's event as well.

TWITCH SCHEDULE:

We were *this* close to making partner on Twitch last month! Will we make it this month?
We'll see! No matter what though, we are able to keep doing streams twice a week! Our streaming schedule remains:

• Wednesdays at 5PM EST
• Saturdays at 5PM EST

Classic Fantasy Illustration: 

We will be diving into the Unlikely Heroes vignette for "Weeds" Agnes. After that, we may do a winter-themed Plague of Dragons image (I need more snow in my life!) or possibly a watercolor scene of our #LETSDRAWMONSTERS creature.  

The Monster of the Month for December will be focused on the Dungeon Keeper and some of his henchmen.  (But there might also be a very Christmas themed monster if time permits...) 

Also, we are also going to begin laying out Sketchbook 2020: Monster of the Month Vol. I this month! I am very excited to start sharing spreads and previews with you all here soon. If all goes well, we will be looking at an early Spring release! 

Order of the Gryphon Tutorial: 

Last month we did a 2-part tutorial on the Scorpkin Battle describing the drawing process and the painting process. If you've been waiting for a time to check out the tutorial series, this would be a good time! 

MENTORSHIPS:

Due to a high volume of sign-ups, the mentorship program is still booked. Please check back in January for new spots. *And if I promised you a spot for December, please message me and I will make sure to get you in!

If you are signed up, please choose the date that works best for you and message me as soon as possible. The dates are first come, first served!

*A last note on Mentorships: In January, the mentorships program will be changing. I love the mentorships, but I have been overdoing it these past few months by trying to juggle those, Twitch and the other rewards. We were faced with either scaling it back, or stopping it altogether. We decided to scale it back for now, and will be keeping the $150 price point, but we will changing to 60-minute courses (with an option to upgrade to 120). I will be describing the new mentorships in greater detail in our January Roadmap post. I do hope this will allow us to keep up with the demands of the program and at the same time give us more spots those of you who have been waiting for so many months for a mentorship.
