Welcome to November! We survived Halloween! ...*barely*

It was a great month, we launched our new series The Unlikely Heroes with Phineus the Owl Wizard as our very first vignette, we created The Glom, we painted a watercolor of Squint Axe Mouse in our dual-stream charity event with David Petersen, but then.... we failed to finish The Scorpkin Battle...

Bitter Defeat: At the end of October, I had to admit the piece with its dozens of figures, had been too much to handle for one month. I am still very excited about this piece, it is one I have been wanting to paint for a long time, so I didn't want to rush it and potentially ruin it. So! we are going to keep working on it in November until it is perfect.

This means:

1. There will be more Twitch streams on it this month, featuring detail work and some of the final vile trickery to a piece.

2. You will be getting this and another Classic Fantasy Illustration this month.

3. Our Step-by-Step Guide for the month will be a double, featuring this image in 2 sections, focusing on development and execution.

Monster of the Month: Our Unlikely Hero for the Month is Montague! Can't wait to share the new vignette with you!

TWITCH SCHEDULE:

Thanks to your ongoing support here on Patreon and Twitch, we are able to keep doing streams twice a week! Our streaming schedule remains:

Wednesdays at 5PM EST
Saturdays at 5PM EST

#LETSDRAWMONSTERS for November will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 5PM EST on Twitch. Check back that day for the prompt!

We have some other big plans for Twitch this month. We are hoping to do a few more community event streams, where we design monsters and heroes live on stream using prompts from the chat. Check out our discord for updates on that and other special events on Twitch!

Classic Fantasy Illustration: Our November illustration is yet to be announced. We will update everyone on this after we wrap up the Scorpkin Battle. Until then, you can expect a hi-res of the Scorpkin battle, plus a bonus hi-res of the Squint Axe Mouse watercolor as well! (Maybe even a time-lapse video if I can manage it!)
