Welcome to September!

What's in store for September:

FIRST! ....WE HAVE A DISCORD! The Extra Fine Monsters Club!

It started as a place for mentees from the mentorships tier and eventually grew into a larger group of artists sharing their work, inspirations, resources and now offers an art community for people interested in imaginative realism, fantasy art, and making monsters. :)

I will be posting a link and password for the discord later today for all subs!

Next, the Monster the Month for September will be a minion from one of our previously-established biomes. Not sure which yet, but there are a lot to choose from, so you can expect a battle royale vote on that soon!

Next month the Monster series will begin to evolve! We will be charting a new direction, and introducing a new kind of character that will be accompanying our current monthly monster. Thus far, we have been but a mere hatchling; soon, we will evolve into our next form!

The Classic Fantasy Illustration for the month will be more work for our gaming client, Fanstratics, plus work for an NDA client who I should be able to reveal later in the month, as well as another landscape image from A Plague of Dragons. There will likely be a lot of art to share as the month goes along!

TWITCH: We are going to be running our #LETSDRAWMONSTERS on Twitch TOMORROW! This Wednesday at 10AM EST! We will reveal everything here first thing in the morning and then get started drawing up some new creatures! This one should be a lot of fun.

We will also do a few other Twitch streams this month, but we will likely be changing the channel in September. First of all, morning streams are likely going to be out in favor of night streams. We will be trying some different slots, 8PM-10PM Wednesday, or possibly 7PM-10PM on Friday. (My twins are no longer taking naps, but are going to sleep earlier! So we may have our evenings back!) We will be trying out different time slots and seeing what works before announcing a regular schedule again.

Also, we are still having trouble with the stream in general (people not getting the notification, or seeing when we are live). We have brought the issue many times with Twitch, but no one seems to know how to fix it. If this does not resolve itself soon, we may switch over to the GalleryGerardLIVE channel for a few streams to see if that resolves itself. If that happens, I will be hosting from the usual JustinGerardillustration channel, so you should be able to get there from either place if you are wanting to join in.

MENTORSHIPS:

We are currently overbooked on Mentorships, so there are no new spots available this month, but I am still working people in as I can. If I promised you a spot, please message me and we will get you in.
