Here it is, folks!
The Power Girl comic has been updated with 134 new renders, bringing the total to 642 pages! You can download the whole pack from the Dropbox link in this post.
This update broke my previous record for renders done in a month. I wanted to leave you guys with a big update as I'll be gone on vacation for the next couple weeks.
I hope you guys like the story and the scenes. I had a lot of fun making it, even though it was a shit-ton of work!
As you guys might've guessed, music is a big inspiration to my creativity. I was listening to The Police through most of this update, and the title song is one of my favs. It inspired one of the scenes, and it let me capture that feeling of weightlessness a guy feels when seeing a girl.
The comic has one last leg left to go to completion! Hoping to get it done by end of September.
I'm already doing prep-work on Babs for my next project. She even makes an appearance in this update. I started using various works by Marcos Martin and Otto Schmidt as character studies to frame my thinking on how to approach her story.

Not sure if I ever mentioned this, but I don't script my comics before I start rendering them. I do the renders first based on a rough storyboard in my head, and add the narrative after. I might be wrong, but I think this is called the "Marvel Method" as this is how Stan Lee used to draft comics in the 60s.
The problem with this method is that I usually underestimate how many panels a scene will take, as each interaction takes on a life of its own and I'm forced to flesh it out. So, a comic I imagined would be 300 pages max ends up being twice the size!
But I'm generally happy with how the comics turn out overall, and they seem to be popular with you guys. Plus, with a Patreon subscription model, I don't really have a publisher's deadline or a limited budget to worry about. These are still passion projects, supported by my generous patrons.
So I'll keep at it. It's the only way I know how to operate anyways! 😅
Anyways, I'm leaving tomorrow on my first vacation in four years! Looking forward to giving my head and my hand a rest from all this creative work. Will drop you guys a line when I get back mid-September.
Hope you all enjoy this latest update! And thanks again for all your support, folks!
Cheers!
