Probably one of my fav songs from Zack Hemsey - love the way the tempo builds!

I'm hoping to have it done shortly.  This is one of the most technically challenging renders I've done, but that's how I get gooood!  😋👌

I really like hot, tough chicks.  Knowing what they're made of makes the sexy stuff in my comics that much more impactful.  Working on the Prologue has really amplified my enjoyment of going back and reading the main body of the Power Girl comic.  I hope it's the same for you guys when I update the pack!

I did something similar with Alice in my first TTLG comic (badass chick goes on a date), but that was a more condensed version.

Batgirl will take a different tack, with a strong-willed chick being broken by the villainous King of Mind-Fucks!  😵

I'm glad I was able to work on Power Girl before diving into Batgirl.  While Batgirl would primarily be a titillating tale of sexual subjugation, PG has let me explore other themes that I needed to let out.

I've come to realize that I've been working on bottled-up stuff.  Not to psychoanalyze, but my time in the Army and a few combat tours left an impression.  My experiences lent some insight into the harshness of the world and helped me refine my understanding of character arcs.

I really like the idea of characters taking their trauma, and making them stronger and yet appreciative of the nicer things in life.  There are no "safe spaces".  Life isn't supposed to be a minefield of "triggers" that others are supposed to tip-toe around.

Our problems are our own and we just have to power on through.

At least that's my philosophy.  And I think it makes for compelling stories.  😊  The manga Berserk is an epitome of this concept, and one of my fav things of all time.

Anyways, on a lighter note, I can't wait to get to the Power Girl Epilogue!  I want to show how Fisher and PG hook up, get hitched, and *huhn huhn huhn* . . . honeymoon the fuck out!  😜

Fisher will probably never know what PG went through, and she'll never tell him.  Just like war veterans never really talk about their time in the trenches.  But he definitely sees himself as the luckiest man alive!
