Hey folks,

I'm still visiting my sick mom. It gets a little boring now that I don't have my render rig. Just plucking away on writing the Indy comic on my laptop.

Thought I'd share some test renders I did previously for a Jill Valentine backstory. I know the official background Capcom wrote for Jill, but it's kinda ridiculous.

A much more compelling idea is that Jill used to work for a big city police vice squad. I like the idea of Jill being undercover at a seedy strip club. Maybe get close with some scummy underboss. She'd have a terrible experience with it, and would later look for a cop job in a smaller town like Raccoon City.

Sorry for the limited renders, but I only did these to experiment with club lighting. I still don't think I've perfected it. Clubs and lounge ambiance is very hard to pull off, I find. But I love that whole neon cyberpunk vibe, so I'll keep at it.

Can't wait to get home and crank out what I've got planned for this month. My mom's now doing much better, and I'll be flying home the day after tomorrow.
