The agreement of course is what kept him going. He was to live as a tiny pet at the gym for three months while he got in top shape. If he successfully finished, then he would be allowed to grow back to normal size. If he failed, he would remain tiny for the rest of his life and be a pet slave for Cade.
The cocky jock already had quite a few permanent pets at home who failed the program. There was always room for more though!
