This one-shot introduces Magister Terainé, a cold and calculating figure who will become a major villain in the series. Watch her oversee a brutal magical ritual as The Society tests its power on a captured werewolf. It’s a first look at their methods, their ideology, and just how far they’re willing to go.
Illustrated by the amazing Lu Thom, “The Cage” is both beautiful and unsettling, a perfect entry point into the world of magical extremism that’s creeping into Davidstown’s shadows.

Indeed. The Werewolf Curse, and other such curses, seem to be unmatchable in terms of evil. Combatting such forces is a good thing, especially with how much horrific death and torture the forces they combat commit on a daily basis.

2025-04-22 00:42:06 +0000 UTCI'm sure they'll turn out to be a bunch of easily hate worthy bastards...but I have to admit at surface level having a proper organization to contain and combat the darkwilds and it's dangerous properties doesn't seem like such a bad idea. After all the human toll is always something to consider, people are dying...or suffering fates notably more precarious than death.
