Added 2025-04-08 09:52:51 +0000 UTCWhile canonically, Mei Ling's Fox Spirit form emerges in quite a gory, skin splitting way, there had been some earlier thoughts that she might transform in a similar manner to Emily. Ultimately this was abandoned due to a story element that will explained later in Season 2.

This style's better, more organic, but as long as you want to stress the magical nature of the beast and the transformation, it would be even more logical to have an anime-flashing-light style one. Anyway, doing a different style also reinforces the uniqueness of the main character of the story :)
