2024-09-10 14:38:18 +0000 UTCIf we're looking at werewolves like they're nothing but simple animals with quick healing abilities and not as some supernatural creature, then i'd say decapitation or any damage to the brain or heart means guaranteed death. Bullets, arrows, and fire can kill them but it would depend on the extent of the injury and how quickly their bodies can repair the damage. I love potions and stuff tho, so I like to imagine a concoction with wolfsbane can expose a person who is hiding his werewolf identity - not kill them, maybe just trigger a transformation or a reaction? maybe they find it repulsive? idk. Perhaps the plant is something the werewolves naturally avoid in the wild and humans somehow realized that and decided to use that knowledge to their advantage.

2024-09-10 11:28:32 +0000 UTCI like to headcanon that werewolves have an advanced healing factor, seeing as their transformations are just a series of grave internal injuries and rapidly healing... Fire can stop that healing factor, as can silver weapons. Wolfsbane can be a repellent or a cure for someone recently bitten before they turn (in my headcanon, at least) and decapitation? I mean... How do you come back from having no head.
