My Delivery System Chapter 14: Training

It was afternoon, and it was time for his training with Shigure. He was a bit nervous of what kind of training he'd do, but he was determined to go through it, because it's vital for his survival.

If you're wondering why he wasn't on his part-time delivery job, simply it's because he doesn't have a shift today, his work wasn't everyday as he was only a part-timer, not a full-timer in this job, to become a full-timer to be promoted which would likely take months.

But the thing is he didn't want to get promoted, while his hourly wage may increase significantly, it also means that he would his workload will increase, to which he isn't willing because he got a full schedule

So promotion is practically worthless in his eyes, especially when he obtained the delivery system.

After waiting for a few minutes, finally the person he was waiting for arrived by appearing above the building he was standing on.

"I'm…here.."

"Yes, I can see that." Hiru said sarcastically.

Shigure didn't get the sarcasm, and only nodded at words and said. "So…we..will…start…"

Then she took something that was wrapped behind her and as she revealed what's inside, he couldn't help but say. "A bokken?"

She said as she stared at him directly in the eyes. "Yes…"

Although she looked stoic, there's something in her eyes that he didn't like and it made him uncomfortable. It's like his instincts were screaming at him that something really dangerous is going to happen right here and now.

"S-say…what are you going to do with it?" He couldn't help but stutters, as he started to feel the dread that was coming.

Shigure expression didn't change, however he had a feeling that the look on her face was telling. 'Isn't it obvious..?'

"Hit…you…. with…it…now…I…will…start…our…training…"

"Wai-" Before he could finish his sentence, a bokken hit his stomach immediately dropping his ass into the ground.

He lifted his head and saw Shigure who was still looking at him stoically and explained. "This…. training…is…to…improve…your…danger…sense…and…also…to.. improve…your…endurance…and…agility…now…dodge…"

Right here and now, he couldn't help but think. 'Is it too late to quit…? Because I'm starting to regret this decision..'

Faced with a woman who is basically a disaster in human skin, he had no choice but to do his best dodging these near impossible strikes that were coming to him.

And thus his hellish training began.

After his training with Shigure finished, his muscles were screaming, his entire being hurts, even the slightest movement causes pain.

Not only is he tired physically but also mentally, he can't wait to go back home and immediately sleep.

Despite the 'beating' that he received from Shigure, not a single bruise or wound was seen in his body, which was admittedly very impressive.

The control of Shigure's strength hitting him with that bokken is nothing short of impressive, that kind of control is quite scary if you look at it.

It's almost inhuman, he wondered if someday he would have that level of control and skill.

Honestly, even imagining reaching that level personally is quite unbelievable to him, is what he would have thought before having the system.

But with the delivery system, someday he would achieve that level with his own skill, all he has to do is to deliver and survive any future orders.

After a few minutes, he arrived at his apartment and directly went to the bedroom, which is also the living room, arranging his futon and went to sleep, he even ignored his sister questions because frankly he was dead tired, he couldn't care less about the consequences of his action because right here and now, the most important thing is to have his well deserved rest.

He didn't even change clothes, because right now moving is very hard to do, and as for his sister's questions that he couldn't quite hear due to the fact that he is so tired, he will answer them tomorrow because he ain't in the mood right now.

As soon as his body felt the comfortable and cozy futon, his consciousness drifted away and went into the dreamland.

Time quickly went by and it was morning, the birds were chirping outside the apartment, the sun had already started rising.

Hiru woke up, and the first thing he saw was their apartment ceiling. He stood up from the futon and after that he realized that his body was really sore, but compared to yesterday, it was almost comfortable. Aside from feeling sore all-over his body, he was hungry, really hungry.

Like, he could eat literally anything that he could find right now, that's how hungry he is right now, which wasn't surprising as he skipped dinner yesterday.

Realizing that his body need it's nourishment, he immediately went to the fridge to see if there's a leftover from yesterday, and not surprising there is, his sister probably predicted that he would look for food that's why she put his portion of yesterday's dinner into the fridge for him to eat later.

He couldn't be bothered to cook right now, so he took the dish that was supposed to be his dinner yesterday night and directly put it into the microwave to heat it up.

After a minute, it was done without caring if it's too hot for his tongue, he immediately started eating the food like a starving man who hasn't eaten for days.

And being hungry like this made him think of Denji, or Dina as she called herself.

He could imagine her feeling hungry like this quite often and thought. 'Maybe I should look for her later…'

Honestly, it was just a thought as he got a full schedule ahead, but he'll make time, because he couldn't stop thinking about her situation. It makes him feel guilty leaving her alone in such a bad situation when he could do something about it.

If the worse comes, he would just take her away from that trash she called a house and let her live with them.

Hiru was torn about what to do with Dina, if it was just the Mafia he could at least try to hide her, he would be confident that they wouldn't be able to track her for at least a month at best and weeks if they're unlucky.

And by then he would have sufficient strength to at least defend her from the Mafia.

But the problem is that it wasn't just the Mafia he was dealing with, he had a feeling that he would have to deal with Makima if he were to hide Dina away.

Because there's no way Dina would leave without her partner Pochinta, they're like 2 in 1 package, he can't take them without one another.

Not to mention, if he interfered too much from the timeline. Dina might not become the chainsaw man, or woman since she's technically a girl in this timeline.

Which is bad, because without chainsaw man, who knows what would happen to those characters in the storyline, the worst case is that someone like Aki or Power might die early without Dina.

Not to mention, without becoming the chainsaw man, Dina is going to die. Because she has a heart problem in the heart, not to mention she also has a lot of missing internal organs.

Her days are numbered without turning into a hybrid, as cruel it may seem. It was better for him to let her die by that Zombie Devil.

However, it won't stop him from helping her even for a bit.

So that's why he will look for her and feed her, that's the least thing he could do to help her.

Not surprising, after Asa woke up she immediately started asking him questions about his 'strange' behavior yesterday, he then started explaining the best he could without mentioning Shigure's existence, because frankly he had a feeling that it would be more trouble than it was worth.

But he did tell her that he started training about self-defense, a white lie, but definitely enough for his sister to at least give him a benefit of doubt.

School was the same as usual, however it feels more lively than usual, at least for him, as there's a single person aside from his sister that genuinely enjoys their company and that person is no other than Yaeko.

After yesterday's event, they became a bit closer, they weren't just acquaintances but they were considered friends.

At least he considered her as one, he wasn't sure what she thought of him as she hadn't vocalized anything officially, but he could at least tell that they were more than acquaintances.

He wondered when he was going to introduce her to his sister, they might become close friends, considering their personalities aren't too different from each other.

And later that day, he received another order from the system.

[ Delivery Danger Level : D- ]

While it didn't say much, at the very least he knows how much of a danger his next delivery service is going to be.

A/N: 10 days without an update XD, either way now that I've got my inspiration and motivation, updates will be constant for this month.

I have a feeling that this fanfic will reach 50 chapters before this month ends.
