Fundraiser for Evey Lockhart
Added 2022-02-09 14:34:45 +0000 UTCHello all! I'm interrupting my long hiatus to ask for your help with a fundraiser. Friend and onetime Trilemma collaborator Evey Lockhart needs help.
You may know Evey from her weird, queer, and sad publications like Wet Grandpa. Her old school-adjacent publications are irreverent and creative. She's an ENnie silver winner, and tied for first in the 2015 One Page Dungeon Contest.
She's also homeless.
For two years, Evey and her family have been sleeping in motels, on couches, and when they have to, in her van. The pandemic has been devastating for many people, but being trans, disabled and homeless on top of that is a relentless grind.
If you're able to spread the word, that's awesome. The pandemic has been miserable (to say the least), but I've been spared the worst of it and I'm in a position to help. If you are too, it's my sincere hope that you will join me in supporting Evey and her family to get them some relief.

We adopted a dog from Texas and I think it was a shock for him also. re: hiatus, it's nothing acute, it's mostly knock-on effects of mental health stuff (for all of us here) relating to being cooped up in the pandemic, I can't as easily burn a weekend every month with all-night creative binge.
