New Workspace, Compendium News

Man, I can't believe how long it's been! Since the end of the Kickstarter, I've been steadily at work getting the compendium sorted out. There is literally no task that doesn't explode into ten smaller tasks.

The good news is that the PDF is almost done, all 178 pages; just a final few typos to squash and it will be up on DriveThruRPG so it can go out to backers, and up for sale for anyone else who wants a copy. A DTRPG POD hardcover will follow early in the new year, once the hardcovers are shipped.

One thing that's made life a lot more complicated this whole time is that we've been renovating chunks of our house. Both my partner and I work at home, and after spending five years working within swatting distance of the end of my bed, it was time to carve off a separate space.

So, here it is, pictured above; a little tiny office with a spot for the computer and tablet and, right next to it, my drawing easel. It's still not set up completely; you can see the empty shelves (which I have literally just finished screwing together), waiting to receive all my RPG and art books from the boxes wedged around my chair as I type this.

The renos took freaking forever (nearly seven months), so every time I walk into this space I feel a wave of relief and gratitude. Just the sort of space to get back to making adventures! Expect one before too long!
