Ooof, that was a big one. The Akimitsu are becoming a favorite of mine, I imagine they also all got Lia's offer there. Adam as well. Our general is damn scary and I am really curious to see how he plays his defeat here. The Sentinels at least will know that it's not over for sure, and someone will connect everything to an escalation strategy and ask some questions there.

If 'Earth' is saved, then all he needs to do is leave the border and the Darkness will be able to claim him at the absolute worst. The more likely case is that he is already 'marked' and so you would have to alter his soul or convince him that he doesn't need that option of being able to die one day to remove that 'hook'. Because it is 'already a part of him', rather than something external.
