Work in progress: "Checkup Blues"

Happy new year everyone! I've been having some quite busy weeks, sorry about the silence! January is probably going to be a lot like this from what I can tell, but it should ease up after a while. The monthly mini set might still be delayed though, and there are some commissions too that may take longer than usual. I hope you understand! Still, I think it's about time I showed my supporters what my next project is. It's a big one, and it's going to take a while, so I thought it would be best to let you in on the process. 

I'm currently working on an animation, and it's not very short like my previous loops. It's more of a short story, featuring Linda and an anonymous female doctor. The centre of attention here is Linda.

The working title is "Checkup Blues" and the the theme here is "Blue Balls", in line with the teasing nature of most of my works. In other words, I'm currently aiming at blueballing everyone, both viewers and actors. That whole idea is still subject to change though, as it is the very end of the animation that determines wether or not the theme actually remains blue balls. 

Currently, the amount of finished animation is about to hit the one minute mark (mostly introductory scene sweeps to get a feel of the setting). I don't know exactly how long this will be, but I believe it could easily hit three minutes or more. I haven't really calculated the length. This means that there are several days, if not weeks worth of render time here in addition to the animating itself and editing process, so prepare to wait for quite some time. Currently no ETA at all, but I'll try to keep giving you monthly snippets of animated gifs and stills to keep you in the loop. 

It is also not guaranteed that I'll actually pull through with the entire thing, given the amount of work. But I still really want to push for it, as it is a great way to challenge myself and further develop my animation skills. If for some reason I were to abandon this project though, I will still show my patrons everything I had so far – which as you know is already close to a full minute.

So to repeat what I said in a earlier post, the primary public content coming from me for now will be commissions and monthly mini sets.
