Audio Issues Update (Solved)

Update: Looks I wont be able to send out the fixed videos to everyone who paid for them already, so if you got them and want the fixed versions, you can message me to get them. The ones you have currently will work in VLC Player, Pot Player and others, but not Media Player and Windows Media Player, so if you use VLC or whatever works for it, you don't need the new version.

As most of you already know, my old PC died a few months ago and I've been on a new PC. ever since then, the audio on my videos haven't been working. I meticulously went through all my settings making sure they were the same as before. I even took screenshots of all my settings on every program I used a couple of weeks before the old PC died.

There was one setting I missed though. I thought it was a codec issue, but after getting feedback from more users over the last few weeks, I thought it might be an issue with my video Editor. it turns out to be an issue with VLC Player's compression. I have to compress the videos with VLC, otherwise the videos would be 10 to 20GB each. I was compressing them to the right format, however, there's this setting I had to go into for it that's unchecked by default that maintains the original audio.

So my understanding is that for the videos that can't play audio in Windows Media Player or the one simply called "Media Player", I've been compressing the audio as well and these players can't play it for some reason. Only VLC, PotPlayer, and possibly newer video players can play it.

So the good news is that new videos I render wont have this issue anymore. The other good news is that I still have the original renders of all 4 videos with the issue and can recompress them. I'll recompress them once I'm done reuploading the other videos. I'm also still editing the videos for this month. Things are pretty chaotic right now, but I'm getting back on track. Thanks for pointing issues and feedback. Without, this issue could have gone on much longer.

When I've recompressed and reuploaded the fixed videos, I'll make a post (or update this one). I'll try to see if I can resend the to people who subscribed those months, i recall that being a challenging process the last time I had to do it. Those who got it via the higher tiers will have to message me to get the new links for them once they've been created.
