Making some changes to my patreon

These changes wont affect most of you, especially those who have been supporting me every month for a while. The reason I'm making these changes is due to a number of things, which I'll address.

Changes:

• I'm going to change the Abstract Supporter Tier only sending out the videos for that month. So, this wont be a change for most of you. All this means is that I will no long send all the videos to new patrons when they sign up for the $5 tier. The $5 price will remain the same. The price will NOT change.
• I'm creating a new tier (Abstract Executive) for new patrons who wish to get all the videos. This will be a one-time tier meant only for new people who don't have all the videos yet. If you have all the videos, there's no reason to sign up for this new tier. I haven't settled on a price, but I don't want to make it too high. Something reasonable.
• The Abstract Producer Prices will be increasing next year, starting in Janurary from $25 to $35 per month. So for those who may not want to pay that price, you can unpledge before then and still the rest of your videos this year for the same price. In case any Abstract Producers miss this, I'll be messaging all of you to let you know about these upcoming changes.

Reasons for Changes:

Currently, when a new patron signs up, they pay only $5 and gain access to everything. It's not really fair to those who have been supporting me for over a year. You get access earlier, sure, but I have to value my work a little better. The other main reason is that there have been people signing up, getting access to all my videos, and then requesting a refund. All these videos took hundreds of hours of work, so that was the final push for me to make this change. It used to happen once in a while, but it's been happening more frequently.

I think I'll also make it where those who have been an Abstract Supporter for a certain number of months will automatically get access to the entire catalog of videos.

I'm increasing the price of commissioned videos because of the time it takes to make them. Now that I have a little bit more experience, it takes me a lot longer to put it into each video I make. The reason I set it as a 3 month payment is because they take so long to make and doing commissions for multiple people every month would leave no room for me to make stories I want to make. I'll understand if people don't want to continue at the new price. But with the amount of time that goes into each video, it's something I've needed to do for a long time.

I don't do this lightly, it's something I've been thinking about for about 6 months. Again, this change wont happen until January of 2021.
