I have to admit, this sketch took a little inspiration from the 2009 Disney-Pixar film UP! To this day however, I still can't watch the opening sequence to it - absolutely heartbreaking!
Anyway, within the BrasByDesign Universe I try to find somewhat practical or interesting ways in which a well-endowed woman can gain much needed extra support. Perhaps that is why this one remained on the back-burner as just a sketch, however, as it somewhat on the silly side. Having said that, I think it has a rather nice whimsical charm, and offers a timeless, thoughtful moment. So, I thought I'd upload it anyway.
Of course, as odd as this solution may seem, I suppose that is what the BrasByDesign Testing Facility is for - trying out possible solutions. As an early attempt it may be a little basic, but what if you could use some sort of blimp or airbag filled with helium or hydrogen to give some extra lift and support? You'd probably want something much larger than this cluster of balloons, but it would remove the need for a hoist or crane that had to trail across the ground, right? Although I'm sure it would present its own problems - I wouldn't smoke near it, for a start!
Then again, this could be a snapshot of a bit of fun and games during a birthday or festive party at the BrasByDesign Testing Facility - I'm sure it would be a challenge to find out how many helium balloons it took to even try and make a notable difference to our protagonists enormous endowments! Maybe they run a bit of sweepstake or game from it? Similar to 'Guess the Jellybeans in the Jar', except it is how many balloons it takes to lift that bust - I just hope they have plenty of gas left...
