Hop 'n' Pop

I know I said in 'Clothes Line Killers' that I'm not all that interested in silly stunts with Pogo Sticks - but I didn't say anything about Space Hoppers, did I? Or, at least the aftermath of a bikini being put under rather too much strain...

Mild hypocrisy aside, I'll still stand by the fact that the root of my fascination arises from the world largely being designed for the most average of people. As a human, once you physically start to stray beyond what is considered 'normal' or 'average', life can start to become trickier. Ask anyone who is tall or short, for example.

You could ask Zara as well. I'm sure she'd tell you the same. Her 'girls holiday' would be a nice, steady, relaxing vacation, so she thought. Laying on the beach and soaking up the sun, maybe a dip in the pool and a chance to get through a few good books in the hotel grounds.

Her friends, however, don't see the harm in taking on some of the more energetic and adventurous activities in the area, and why would they? At barely a B-cup and C-cup respectively, it would be hard for them to empathise with their heavily over-endowed companion. Their modest busts would do little to threaten the construction of all but the most flimsy bikinis, and with that, they can hop-along with enjoyable, care-free confidence.

In contrast, Zara's over-developed assets mean that even day-to-day tasks can be a trial in themselves, and even the most simple of manoeuvres can put a bikini-top at risk! Whilst it is a reasonably sturdy garment, its design relies largely on upscaling of somewhat smaller-cup varients that never realistically considered such substantial size and weight! The ultimate failing point being primarily the halter-neck strap, that clearly wasn't designed to have such a heaving dynamic load put upon it.

Don't feel too bad, though. On the plus side for Zara, she is almost at the bar. Whilst she may have busted almost every bikini she has worn so far on this vacation, she at least hasn't had to pay for one single drink yet. Her friends, on the other hand, don't seem to be getting quite so much attention.

Maybe it is just jealousy, rather than lack of empathy?...
