I like it, makes me think of a cave or temple full of danger and treasure. Is Nora 26 coming before the weekend?

It is also important to remember that the cover does not have to convey a scene from the story, but instead meet reader expectations based on genre. I think this one does that nicely.

The number one complaint about the first cover was that it was too bright and happy, and that Delvers was an incredibly dark (?) book.

Mmm.. So, skulls and fire and darkness in the background.. Trite? Cliché? I mean, every book has those. Says nothing about your book in particular. Also, one of the reasons Delvers is good? It has happy moments mixed with the darkness. Humor and characters that really love each other. This cover does not suggest that. I'd prefer a background that was either bright and naturey (suggesting a wide new land and adventure) or else split between light and shadow. As a new reader, either of those would be more likely to get me to pick up the book.
The images of the people are awesome tho.

Sword needs work. Otherwise it's amazing. And true to the characters.

Nice; but what is the background from in the book?
