iirc I'd shared the rough thumbnails for this a long while back, so you already know he gets to see a lot more of her down the line, but then the setup of this piece isn't entirely canon anyway, given how they meet in the doodles X3

Was a lot of fun to do and I'm very happy to have gotten it done this "early" also. I'm also very satisfied with how it came out and how quickly it came together. Plus, I think this marks the first time where I managed to paint in a background rough enough to create depth of field by itself, without needing enhanced blurring - yay for artistic progress!

I wanna try and put a line or two on the thumbnails again when I get a chance, but for now I just need to focus on getting healthy again =w=
