Revisions and Returns

Wow! Thank you very much, everyone! I didn't expect this kind of respose in such a short time! You guys are amazing! 8D

Haven't got super much to update right now, but there will be a second swing of uploads in two weeks time, so you guys all get something for your money ;D

Speaking of; I was contacted by a concerned user about my upload regimen, specifically about a possibility I hadn't considered; content bots.

I had wondered about some of the more convoluted upload strategies of fellow artists and whether they were just not trusting of their fanbase or whathaveyou, but taking that very real possibility into account, it makes a whole lot more sense.

In light of this, I may be looking to restructure my uploads in some way in the future, but I don't know exactly what shape that restructuring will take. However, the one thing that was suggested to me, which I'm very much considering implementing, is upfront payment for the patreon tiers.

While I liked the idea of having a "trial period" for new patrons, I hadn't thought of such a structure being abused by automated systems designed to undercut this kind of thing :/

Let me know your thoughts on the matter, whether you care or not, alternatives, or just general ideas, etc. ...

Upfront is best to insure no one abuses the system.

I'm fine with upfront payment.

I think almost everyone does upfront payment now, it's the norm from what I have seen for this very issue. This is why I waited until the 1st of this month to pledge even when I saw you'd started a Patreon account last month. The way Patreon's billing works it always makes sense for patrons to do any pledge shuffling they are going to do at the beginning of the month. I was surprised when I saw it didn't bill me immediately. I've followed your art for a long time (more than 10 years) and I wanted to pay you!
