Vam Launch improvements
Added 2024-10-10 09:28:04 +0000 UTCI was never satisfied with the current implementation of Vam Launch in my scenes.
If you had the chance to try it, you could see the current problems. Movements are jerky, sometimes incorrect and full of inconsistencies. That's due to the animation source, as even scripting it using the zone reference, the calculations are run on the fly.
For some time now I was looking for a way to feed it a timeline animation with no luck, and I've finally found a solution: animation pattern as a source fed into the timeline plugin! Why didn't I think about it before? Damn I feel so stupid.
This significantly improves the output quality. No more jitters or janky movements.
Requires way more time for scripting, as everything need to be keyframed (until I find a way to mocap it on the fly, who knows), we are looking at an hour of work for 1 minute of animation.
But it's totally worth it, with this the launch integration won't be just a gimmick, but a fully fleshed feature for my scenes, yay!
I'm just happy and wanted to share the news with you, as I was reaching a creative pit due to all these small issues piling up.
I can't wait now to implement this properly in all my scenes. For this one I will start with Stronger Lap.

I cant wait to see whats next with this implementation. I absolutely love that feeling of "cracking the code" as it were, like a dreary day is all of a sudden bright and shiny with a beautiful woman on your lap
