While I was drafting up this chapter, there was a certain scene I had in mind that was pretty much GUARANTEED to be happening during this part.
The idea was that Leon would grab out the Quizard pin as seen, but when he tries to get rid of it, just ends up stomping on it and poking himself with the needle of it. In reality, it would have only extended this part by maybe an extra page, but it was ultimately cut because by this point, Ms Shepard's patience has COMPLETELY run out.
I'm happier with how it developed out instead, though. And this is easily the highlight Luca moment of the chapter, at least for me. She's finally standing up against the twins! My favorite element of this is how considerate Ms Shepard is willing to be to /Luca/ compared to Leon. Despite everything, they're still underestimating her...
