Yes I learned some new stuff to make the animation smoother. I'll still have to rely on lighting to "darken" points and places where the animation isn't where I'd like it to be. Still it's an improvement!

I just want to say that this remake is a masterpiece. I really like it. I agree with Chris that the Lighting is the only thing which might be perfected a little, since I also like to be able to see all the parts. But that's the only I can think of. I also want to give a 100% thumbs up for the victory sign/peace finger gestures: I am a total sucker for that move, so that was an awesome surprise. I'm really impressed with your progress. Solid!

Combination of both. I do mocap in steps for all the movement. I use keyframe with timeline for morphs like hand poses and expressions.

Amazing write up! That is probably it, I'll keep that in mind! I still like playing with the lights, doing reveals etc, but maybe for focused parts of the lapdance she will need to be clearly visible. Noted :D

I still like the first one, it was energetic but it did lack of lights to reveal all the juicy parts and the animation wasn't very smooth.

Just a simple question for @AlpacaLaps: do you use keyframe animation to make the animations? Or do you use MoCap? Or a combination?

I checked this out in vr. And it's excellent. Good work. A real show case for the patreon and a better reflection of Als developing skills. But...personally I like the original too. I compared them side by side to work out why a user might like an inferior less complex scene. The answer was light. In the first version you can see the model most of the time and the lights do not become so busy rhey become distracting. That isn't the case with the redux but it could be in a less talented hand. So I would suggest that when making new dances pls consider that some users will like to see the model clearly for parts of the scene. What made the redux better in other ways was the duration. It's now the length of a proper dance and that is a great new gold standard. Also the increased variety and stages to the dance. And who who doesnt love a red head. Fantastic progress!
