Feeling the Sunshine (Mina Mongoose TG)

Mike narrowed his eyes, trying not to show his discomfort as he walked around the shop, hoping his attempts of snooping around were at least slightly subtle. Ever since his friend had gone in the other night to try and steal something, no one of them had seen him since, his phone always going right to voicemail and his house completely empty.

They'd even asked the police if they had made any arrests near the shop lately, but even that worst case scenario didn't yield any results. The only option any of them could think of after that was just checking the shop itself, Mike volunteering since he had the most free time. But even now he couldn’t find a thing; maybe they had gone too far pressuring Cody into this?

“Nah, he probably went to hang out with some other friends or something. He’ll be fine!” he reassured himself, having another look around the shop when he noticed something in the corner: an old yellow microphone.

Although it went against his tough guy image, Mike had always held a passion for singing, not even anything metal. He’d never told a soul, but he preferred more poppy, happy tunes, and he often practised when alone.

With his old microphone busted, he supposed it wouldn’t hurt to pick it up. Surely he had nothing to fear about being linked to Cody’s theft when he hadn’t even been near the place. Granted, the look the silver-haired girl at the counter gave him still chilled him to the bone, even the smile she probably gave to reassure him coming off more like a sinister smirk…

After reporting the lack of any findings on the group chat, he set off back home, sighing as Jane and Liam accused him of missing something before saying they would check themselves later. Annoyed at the lack of faith his friends had in him, Mike decided to work away some of his frustrations with some singing, sighing as he hooked the new microphone up to a speaker.

With that he just needed something to sing. He scrolled through Youtube to see if any songs caught his eye when he spotted one that would be perfect in his suggestions. It was “Can You Feel the Sunshine”, one of the songs from Sonic R, an old racing game for the Sega Saturn with a great selection of songs for its soundtrack.

Him and Cody had been fans of the series when they were younger, doing everything from playing the games to reading the comics. He had remained an occasional fan of the series since then, and many of the game's songs often ranked among his favourites.

It was even a Sonic character that helped him discover his passion for singing, Mina Mongoose from the comics, her attitude and appearance having caught his eye from a young age, and even now he found himself still into her. She came to mind more than ever as he thought back, remembering how he used to imagine the songs from Sonic R being sung by her in-universe due to their style, a thought he shook away as he selected the instrumental of the song.

He took a deep breath, savouring the build up on the instrumental, swearing he could feel hundreds of eyes on him as a pleasant shudder rippled through him. Mike could hear his heart pounding as the lyrics grew ever closer, unknowingly condemning himself to walk on a new path of life as he spoke the first lines of the song aloud.

“C-can you see... the sun is s-shining on m-me...” he whispered, still shaking like a leaf, his eyes shut as his body buzzed from nerves, every hair stood on end. Mike ignored the nervousness, focused on continuing to sing in an attempt to overcome his self doubt. He was oblivious that that assumption was incredibly incorrect, something much stranger starting to happen to him.

Ironically enough, those particular lyrics seemed to be matching what was happening to his body at that very moment, unbeknownst to him as everywhere sunshine touched him, the tingling was stronger. What Mike thought was just his hairs standing on end was in fact something different entirely, those hairs joining more as patches of fur appeared on his body, fur that was slowly starting to spread.

"It makes m-me feel so free... s-so alive..."

Mike bit his lip as he held back a sudden moan that didn't really seem to register with him as having happened, as there was a sudden crack in his brain at the word "free". He was starting to subconsciously tap his foot to the beat, a tiny sparkle appearing deep in the recesses of his once nervous eyes as the crack slowly grew.

Things were slipping out of it into his mind, a happy, giggly feeling, not that he noticed it as the edges of his mouth threatened to twitch up into a smile as he continued through several lyrics.

"The bad times pass me by, 'cause today is gonna be a brighter day!"

Mike was clearly getting more into it now, still quiet, unconfident and a bit off-tune, but no longer stuttering, the ghost of a smile transitioning into a shy, tiny, embarrassed one. His once reserved foot tapping was growing more excited as he began to move a bit more, but what he didn’t think hard about was how he felt increasingly turned on the more he got into his singing, rubbing his furry thighs together and barely stifling a moan.

"Can you feel the sunshine? Does it brighten up your day~?"

He disguised his coughing between the vocals, feeling strangely concerned about slipping up despite him being totally alone. Each cough caused another crack to his voice, the pitch rising as any sense of masculinity faded, giving him an alluring, cute voice that made his singing brighter and peppier. His brain was doing what the lines described, feeling like light was pouring out of the crack, brightening his mind and making the sparkle in his eyes grow bigger.

"Reach out for the sunshine, forget about the rain~!"

Mike’s brightening brain was starting to be purged of his worries, the concerns and anxieties drained away as he began to forget about the gloomy rain that was messing with his mood. As he continued to sing, the crack grew wider, his once shy smile looking more and more natural as he giggled, surprised at how soft his arm was as he rubbed it absentmindedly.

He was still tapping his foot to the rhythm as he moved, his excitement growing as if some kind of energy was filling him. An invisible aura of expectations from others was spurring him on, a peppy, brighter, girly voice continuing to emerge as he sang.

"It's comin' through, it makes me feel brand new~!"

He was forced to bite his lip to hold back the cry that followed, his mind unaware of what just happened a SNAP almost sent him stumbling forward. He regained balance just in time, disguising it as a pose before making a cutesy giggle, strange, happy thoughts clouding and hazing his brain as he started to push out his chest and butt without realising.

He was confused for a moment though; he was alone, right? So why did he need to do something like hiding a stumble? That only made sense if people were watching him! His head hurt a bit after that, feeling like he was missing something as the fabric of his skirt brushed against his furry legs, his body bathing in the sunlight and covered with fur that shined just as brightly.

"'cause everything's so clear, And today..."

Mike winced slightly while coughing, a sunset breaking out of the crack and shining all over his mind. In unison, a strange pressure engulfed the tip of his spine, about to burst any second.

He didn’t know what the feeling was, but Mike knew that the song was more important, any worry he felt being engulfed by the growing sunshine he could feel all over his brain. His slim legs shook as his soft thighs rubbed against his shaft, the strange arousal growing with every word he sang, until that pressure burst and two pops echoed through his head.

"Is gOHnna be a brighter dAHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY~!!!!!!!!!!!!"

POP~!

He was squealing out the next lines, Mike’s legs shaking as he almost fell to his knees, but something in his brain was stopping him from doing so, insisting that the show must go on. Something was twitching and wagging behind him, every tiny movement sending lightning bolts of ecstasy straight up his brainstem, feeling better than masturbation ever had. He was drooling, gasping, his tongue hanging out with glazed over eyes as he tried to continue on with the song.

"Doooooohhn't you f-feeEEEELLL that s-soOHmetimes you n-neeeeed to run awaAAAAYY~?"

Mike thought he was cumming but he couldn't be sure, locks of purple starting to fall in front of his eyes as his mind tingled. Giggles were slipping in between lines, his brain feeling like it had been dunked in soda as bubbles fizzled and popped around it, soaking in all the sugary sweetness. He had a faint feeling like something was popping in his head with the bubbles, something very important, but he was much too focused on the song to care.

"Reeeeeeach out f-for the sUHNshineee, f-forget about tHEEEEEE r-rain~!"

Mika’s hand grasped out almost in a trance, and the more it reached, the more he forgot about the useless old life rain, just like the song said. Rain was sad and dreary, so he wanted to forget.

His heart pounded like a jackhammer.

He wanted to forget; that thought was suddenly the most obvious thing in the world. It was a fact. His life was boring and dreary like the rain. But now he was feeling the sunshine, the light of a far better and wonderful experience.

He came hard as he repeated the sentence over and over to himself, his acceptance streaming through his hair as the rest of it turned purple, pouring down his curved back as he began giggling uncontrollably.

His pretty purple hair bounced with him as he confidently walked around the room, a sway in his hips, cumming as he repeated “I want to forget” over and over, until he wasn't even sure what it was he wanted to forget in the first place.

"Just thinnnnnnnnnnnnk about the gOHHHOd timEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS~. And they will come bAHHHHHHHHHHHHck again~."

His tail twitched happily as he continued, the small cumming cock moving along with it, Mika’s once unconfident brain drenched in peppy joy. The pops coming from all around him were wonderful. Just like his music, they made him feel poppy and fun and happy and bubbly~!

His slender hands clutched the microphone, continuing to sing as he brushed the hair out of his eyes, winking as the green sparkles engulfed it all.

"Ooh-hoooooooooooo..."

The song disguised his moans perfectly, his cartoonishly long eyelashes fluttering as a strange feeling filled his ears, both of them twitching as they poked through the strands. His waist seemed to feel off too, but it was the same, slender, furry core that it had always been, shown off perfectly by his adorable outfit.

He suddenly felt scared for a moment, like something wasn't quite right, the thought causing him to rub at his cheek fluff in concern. The moment was short-lived however, the feeling of sweet, happy and fizzy thoughts overwhelming it completely as he forgot about the rain, the crack in his brain bursting as he confidently resumed the song.

"Can you feel the sunshine~?"

Something was swelling in his chest as love and bubbles swelled in his head, a similar feeling in his ass, and a sucking feeling between his legs, but Mina barely registered any of it. The almost Mongoose girl’s eyes sparkled as she sang loud, clear and confidently, her surroundings seeming to shimmer around her as she did so.

"Can you feel the sunshine?

Does it brighten up your day?"

The ground was a stage, there were lights, music, a crowd, fans, fans, fans, and Mina Mongoose couldn't disappoint her fans. She sang louder then, clearer, hitting a high note even she wasn't aware she could reach as something popped down below, her legs slamming together instinctively as a reaction to the blissful feeling. She  managed to make it go into a dance move though, Mina’s face red and gasping from the feelings she assumed were just the excitement she always felt when performing onstage.

"Forget about the rain

Just think about the good times

And they will come back again~!"

There was a jiggle in her chest and rear now with every bounce she made, her numerous fans cheering in appreciation as she leaned low and winked, giving a brief cleavage shot in the process. She was filled with joy as she sang and danced, any strange, weird, sad thoughts blowing away on the spring breeze as her new identity settled in her mind. With the song nearing its close, she twirled, ending in a cutesy pose and a wink at her loving audience.

"Come back again...

You gotta reach out..."

She at last finished the song, standing up straight and giggling as her fans cheered and applauded like crazy. There was no memory of the old her in her mind now, the old self utterly consumed by her furry singer waifu, the new Mina here to stay as she giggled into the microphone that unknowingly changed her fate and closed off the night while addressing her adoring fans.

"This was Mina Mongoose, I hope you enjoyed the show~! I can't wait to see all of you here again next time~! Goodnight New Mobotropolis!"
