Stepping it up

So the time between chapters 21 and 22 of Borne of Caution was right around 5 weeks, and after thinking about it, that's not really acceptable. That is over the once-a-month goal I want to set so everyone gets their pledge's worth out of me. That in mind, I've started using professional voice-to-text (paid for by you all, big thanks) in an attempt to push out more with my limited time and dyslexia limiting my output. If I continue on at this speed, its going to take roughly 8 years for BoC to finish, and that's too long. In an ideal world, I'll have it done in the next 3. If you notice my writing style change a bit in new works, it might be because of the V2T.

Also, my side-project priority is shifting. The just-for-fun pokemon story I talked about? The prologue should be ready in the next day or two. I'm going to try and keep to pokemon related subjects to stay on track (unless I'm struck with the urge to write something else when I don't have access to my PC, in which case a quick-n-dirty phone oneshot might be born)

Thankee much.

Damn, using a voice to text to get better output sounds intense haha. Best of luck sir

That's great to hear. Just be careful not to over-tax yourself. Burnout kills too many stories already.

It is understandable that you want to speed up thing, i will be waiting for the next chapter yeah, but I really hope that the writing style didn't changes much :o and please don't forget to enjoy what 6ou re doing x)

Appreciate the sentiment, but considering your job and the endless waves of covid, I simply don’t se how your gonna accomplish it without burning out. If you have to lose sleep to do faster chapters, don’t do it. If you have to skip meals to do another chapter, don’t do it. If you have to over stress you brain to do faster chapters, don’t do it. I’m fine with a slower pace so long as the story finishes. Getting faster chapters at the cost of you burning out 6 months down the line isn’t worth it. Health first, then space to rest, then Chappie.
