Ao3 resolution and another announcement.

Heyo,

So after some back and forth with Ao3, they're refusing to budge on their stance. As disgruntled as I am, I'm going to go and delete the patreon thanks on all the Borne of Caution chapters and keep posting there without it. A few people here were upset that Ao3 refused to let me promote myself and that prompted me to sit and think for a moment.

I love writing, I really do. My most ambitious goal on this patreon is to become a fulltime writer, and I know that's not going to happen living off donations for fanworks. With that in mind, I made the decision to begin a fully original work.

Don't think Born of Caution is going to fall by the wayside. That averages about one update a month, and that should stay the same, but I'm going to challenge myself to have an update ready for this original work once a week if not faster. Naturally, you all get early access to it. The synopsis is below.

In the year 2048, a drone operator and his AI-assisted combat drone find themselves in a land most fantastical, one fit for pen and paper table-top games, after what should have been their doom. This world, filled with magic that seemingly defies logic, is looked upon with great curiosity by the daydreaming man and the cold machine.

This world wasn't ready for them.
