my lovely assistant grabbed these of me while I was going a self portrait behind the scenes shoot in tofino. I love how they show the set up, the scene, and my phone at terrible risk of water damage just carelessly tossed in the beach sand.

i'm spending a lot of time creating my next big offering: a self portrait course focused on teaching people the technical toolkit required, as well as the emotional toolkit required. it's really highlighting just how important this practice has been for me throughout my life. it also made me realize i've been taking self portraits as a form of creative expression for FIFTEEN YEARS. which is just wild to me.

i can't wait to share this little love child with ya'll - it'll probably be a few more months in the making. i'll definitely share some of the juicier excerpts with ya'll here as they bubble up to the surface <3
